A Snapshot in the Family Album

About

For my 16th birthday my dad bought me a Canon AE1, my first real camera. I had no idea how to use it, and didn't take very good pictures for the next ten years, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Fast forward thirty years, and I'm still learning, but enjoying getting out and taking pictures, mostly of the wildlife around us in BC's Columbia Valley. And after all these years of getting out there, some of those images are starting to turn out.

"A snapshot in the family album".... lyrics made famous on Pink Floyd's album The Wall. Until putting up this page, that's all my pictures have been, a snapshot in the family albums. Pictures from our trips and of the wildlife around where we live,, sometimes shared with family and friends.

Then one day, I decided it was time to do what everyone was suggesting I do, and created this page. The Picfair platform made it easy. I would have liked for my dad to be able to see it....

"Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time. Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines." - (Time - by Roger Waters).

I'm glad I made the time, I hope you are too.

Enjoy.... And Go Bills!!
